Just got back from Connor's preschool open house. He did very well and was good with his teachers. We stayed for a while because it takes him so long to warm up to different places. I'm sad to be taking my "baby" to preschool. I had to actually hold back tears a couple of times while I was watching him explore. It just doesn't seem possible.
Monday is his first day of school and I'm sure I will be a babbling idiot then. Looking forward to that...NOT!

I will be a blubbering mama with you on Monday. Garrett starts preschool too. He is so excited to go to "school"...I just want to be selfish and keep him home with me. Yesterday he took me by the hand and actually asked, "Will you play with me mom?" My heart melted. He understands now from being home Spencer all summer what it means to play "with" someone. So sweet!
Amy, I'm glad to hear that there are others out there like me. I just want to keep him home. Being here with him for most of the day while Wes is at school is great. He is just the nicest little guy! I feel like I'm throwing him out to the big, bad world!
Keep the tissues handy on Monday!
